We're wishing Anna Mossman luck on her upcoming presentation at the ‘Painting in the Age of Digital Reproduction’ symposium at Art Sonje Centre, Seoul, Korea, under ‘Materiality in Painting’ on 13 May 2023.
Her paper ‘Some Light in the Shadows - Touch, Time and Movement in Real and Digital Space’ looks at the development of a new large painting Bathers (1), 2022 (seen below) and the related video work ‘Some Light in the Shadows’ recently shown at the Korean Cultural Centre UK in London, setting these within the context of her wider practice and engagement with digital video and analogue photography in relation to drawing and time.
