CLOSE are delighted to share a new video about sculptor Simon Hitchens project ‘The Elizabeth Landmark’. Simon’s winning proposal is a truly monumental 55 metre high sculpture made in steel that extends out of the Northumberland hillside. In his first interview since planning permission was granted for the project in November 2021, Simon says he wants people to be “awed” by the sculpture which is of “international importance.”
